Un film care a facut furori la vremea lui printre tinerii din Romania, Liceenii este povestea de dragoste a doi boboci care se indragostesc nebuneste. Mihai (Stefan Banica Jr.) este un provincial ajuns la un liceu din Bucuresti unde pasiunea sa pentru filosofie si matematica va fi eclipsata de cea pentru Dana (Oana Sarbu). Idila lor va fi plina de naturalete, dar va trece prin multe incercari.
Ion Caramitru si Tamara Buciuceanu izbutesc doua roluri memorabile, interpretandu-i pe idealistul profesor de filosofie Socrate, respectiv pe severa, dar simpatica, profesoara de matematica, Isoscel.
